Ok Im a licensed hairstylist and this is my tip! Part your hair straight down the middle... Then you want to form a triangle part in the bang area... Start off small you dont want a huge bang section... I cut mine about nose length while wet... U must remember that hair will shrink up and cowlicks will act out when the hair is dry... I like to point cut my bangs... Which is when you hold a shear and cut straight into your bangs making little traingle cuts... This way you wont have a blunt bang but a soft fringe! I wouldnt do this myself unless you are a professional... U can get a bang trim really cheap... If you dont mind a lower end salon I know cost cutter does a bang trim for 5-10 bucks! Honestly dont do it yourself... There is alot involved in haircutting and it is quite difficult to cut bangs yourself if you dont have the experience!

Well, the way you have it in the picture is awsome, but if you must do it at that side angle......first get a new pair of scissors for hair, they r only like two bucks at sally's, then get a clean fresh comb, and get the hair pieces you want you want, then comb to the length you want. Angle your comb so that it's the angle you want, and cut! If your too scared the best idea is to have a friend, or a mom do it, otherwise, just get them done at a salon, they wont charge much.

i cut my own side bangs and ive never had a problem, i usually do it when my hair is wet/damp to make sure the hair doesnt slip out of the scissors while im cutting...the angle depends on how you part your hair, i part my hair on the right (side bangs on the left) so i cut at a slight, downward angle toward the left, if they don't turn out perfectly even its not a problem because of the way the bangs drape to the side, it gives it a sophisticated look at an angle

There is no angle! It's all about how you part your hair! If you cut your bangs at an angle, you will be sorry!

You should really get someone else to cut em for you. Be sure it's a friend you can trust who won't purposely cut you wrong for a reason.

if ur experienced though, try doing a really sharp angle.... it looks great on my little sister!

I don't know, but I'd recommend going to and asking a hairdresser. If you can't then I'm sorry I'm bad with this answer. Good luck with your haircut!
