I know he probably does miss me when we're apart... but just because he has to act macho, he seems to be always aloof or busy and I feel like I'm the one pining for him. Anyone else ever feel like this? Sometimes the "manly" lack of emotion or soft spots is really annoying.

absolutely... sometimes it happens but what my bf tells me is that he does miss me only he cant express it that well....
i had that same dilemma, so i talked to him about it, thats how i got my answer

I do. I think I love him more than he does me. He's so not emotional and sometimes when I hug him he'll push me off rather softly. He's a chubby guy, so I don't know if he's insecure or just plain don't want me to hug. Gee Whiz. I guess the maucho men are toooo maucho, and the sensitive men are kind of soft. Where are the middlemen?

ohhh yeah ... and for me myself. i in many circumstances get my spiral & write somethin for him & the nxt time i tlk to him i study it to him... it facilitates wtih my creatvitiy and makes him experience like he's extremely loved ...
