Do you think it is possible to cheat on someone and live with guilt. I know that some people think that they go through a stage of not knowing if they love their partner or not but feel trapped in the relationship. They have an affair and truely realise that the person they are already with is the "one" for them. They realise the good thing they have and it is worth fighting for and subsequently falls back in love with them and wish the whole affair thing never happened. Could you get over the guilt? Is living with the guilt punishment enough?

Cheating in a relationship is never a good thing but it can sometimes make you see that the grass isn't always greener on the other side and make you wake up and realise that you do love your partner.....i have been cheated on and subsequently have cheated myself, i'm not proud of it and it's not a nice feeling afterwards but you have to deal with it and try to move on or it will eat you up inside......i am still dealing with it, i suppose only time will tell.

I THINK CHEATING IS UNNECESSARY. IF YOU ARE HAVING DOUBTS ABOUT A RELATIONSHIP, THE BEST THING TO DO IS BE OPEN AND HONEST WITH YOUR PARTNER. THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION CAUSES PEOPLE TO DO THINGS THAT CAN BE AVOIDED. TAKE A BREAK FOR THE RELATIONSHIP. DON'T CHEAT THEN REALIZE WHAT YOU DID WAS WRONG BECAUSE BY THEN IT'S ALREADY TOO LATE. YES THE GUILT IS PUNISHMENT, BUT IT'S NEVER ENOUGH. THE CHEATER WILL NEVER FEEL THE PAIN THE CHEATEE FEELS UNLESS THAT TABLES ARE TURNED. THE ONLY WAY TO GET OVER THE GUILT IS TO COME CLEAN AND RISK LOSING THAT PERSON. THE LONGER YOU WAIT TO TELL THE TRUTH THE MORE DAMAGE YOU ARE DOING.

cheating does urt some people terriblly and ive always been a cheater cuz i dont know why but once u start u think it wont hurt the other person if they dont find out and thats the way it really isbut also if they find out you find out what i really had and u regret it cuz u relize what u had and u lost it it sux bit, and sum people do it cuz they feel cluttered and want someone on the side and be with them instead but that never works your right they always want to go back and the cheater ussually gets what they want!! but the truth NEVER goes untold u will see and yeah ur gonna be guilty but not long cuz u will get caught and fess up

Yes, you CAN get over it, but it will take some time, patience, and a lil bit of misery. However, I have also cheated in the pass, but I am NOT a CHEATER. Why cheat if I am treated respectfully and am happy in the relationship that I am in?

Yeah, of course you'll be guilty because you did something wrong and it's to your best friend or lover. Live with the guilt cuz that's really all you can do

i have never cheated in my life and iam not about too.i think,when you get someone,thats the 1 for you.i look and tease other women,but ill never cheat on my woman.

i have cheated....am doing still...im not proud of it..so im ready for the crap off everyone here...lol...but its just something happening, and ive manged to keep secret for 5 months now...
i do feel bad, as i love my husband and would do/do do anything for him...
to be honest...its like having 2 husbands, only not being married to one of em...
