Islam is not a place it is a religion - and most of the countries that enforce Islamic rule are extremely anti-any other religion. Living in a country like that would endanger your physical well being if you were vocal about your religion. There are many Christians living in some of those countries, but a lot are discriminated against, treated as second class citizens and some are imprisoned or killed for their beliefs.

>Quran Sura 5:51: O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends....

>Quran Sura 5:33: "Those who make war with Allah and his messenger will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off....

>Quran Sura 47:4: Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks....

Yeah, you won't have any worries because you'll be dead. Islam is vile, hateful, intolerant, and extremely violent.

You'll be fine depending on what country you choose. Jordan, Lebanon,Syria and Turkey are very open to people of other religons...you'll find churches everywhere. In fact you'll be very suprised how diverse they are.
