Is it strange that Christians claim that there isn't enough evidence to support atheism?
There isn't enough evidence to support the claim that there is not enough evidence to support the claim that there is a god....

Apparently it's what they're saying now. If my hands are empty would that guy tell me he refuses to acknowledge any 'proof' that I'm not holding anything? I guess it's not strange for someone like that to think illogically. He just took it that extra step.

He's basically correct. You can't prove a lack of God or alternative method of creation anymore than a religious person can prove God or creationism.
Now if one day space aliens come and show they PUT US HERE that would be some compelling information, especially if they could show some things that were talked about in the Bible and maybe even a few pictures of Moses, Abraham, Jacob and Job. Maybe even show us some video tapes.
Now if one day God or Jesus came to Earth and walked on water, raised the dead and leaped tall buildings in a single bound AND they were JEWISH, well, that's another body of information to be considered!
Short of that everyone's got a hard time proving their point of view is an absolute reality.
Until then all we can do is debate the pros and cons of each view point.

Uhhh ok so I can't prove that there is no Santa Claus. I guess he believes that a fat man in a red suit is going to slide down a bunch of chimneys this year. Who knows how the Jamaicans and the Philippinos will get their presents since they don't have chimneys?
