how would i tell a guy that i like him or how would i ask him if he likes me because we go to the same church and it would me kinda weird seeing him at church and stuff ya know

First thing, give up church... it is good for nothing, no matter what church it is. Second, he's a guy, your a girl... if the girl approaches the guy, he'll be totally flattered and love to go out with you.

First thing, do something to overcome the shyness....take a public speaking class or do things that involve having to express your opinions in front of a whole bunch of people, this way, talking will come naturally and if you do happen to ask him if he wants to do something with you, the answer won't impact you so hard, one way or the other---shyness seems to come hand in hand with shame and if you ask him now, while you are shy, and he says no, you'll probably feel ashamed every time you seem him after that.

Just tell him you like his hair style, or his suit or something like that. Just start a conversation then go on to talk about books, music, films or sport - anything that hits a common touch with him. If he is interested and not scared off, he will let you know by his body language etc., whether he likes you or not. If you get the feeling that he doesn't want to know, just move away after saying 'bye'...............

Ask him to hang out sometime.
If he doesn't like you that way then he'll look at it as hanging out, if he does like you he'll hope it's a date.
And don't be shy about the Church thing. Tons of people meet at Church and sometimes it doesn't work out.

Well if your shy then you need to step out of your shell a bit.
Why don't you talk to him, just gather up your gumption and talk to him. Find something to talk about, bump into him, and say excuse me, then mention something about his clothes.
Bumping into him is a great start, then just talk to him, don't let him walk away, keep asking him questions. Get his attention.
He'll be responsive, you will get his attention and get to know him. That's good.
You have to be assertive! I promise if you do nothing, someday you're going to regret not doing anything and letting him slip through your fingertips. Carpe Diem!!

You can always wait to see if he shows you some king of sign. Most men will let a woman know if he is interested in her. But being friends first could never hurt....

Figure out what makes him tick. Is he artistic, musically inclined, more athletic, etc. Then drop hints that you understand what he's about. Ask him about the football matchup (if he's athletic) or the chord sequence to his favorite song (if he's into that).
