when you talk abouit Einstein, you say that he was a swiss physician or a german one?

Einstein was German birth,he worked in Switzerland, he never became a Swiss citizen.
The Nazi's threw him out in 1933(when he was a professor at Princeton)and he became an American citizen later. But he is known historically as a German physicist, because his great works were performed as a German citizen.
