I don't think so, Budda was the way he was because of his enlightened way of thinking and despite his human nature. Dogs are the way they are because they don't know any different then what they are taught or what they experience. Dogs are meant to be subservient even in nature, they establish pack orders and follow by example from other animals and people. If we teach them violence then they exude that, if we teach them patience and kindness then they exude that.
