Yeah, I've had some wicked back spasms that have made me desire that, even though as I wished it, I knew in my heart it wasn't my time.

If the pain still continued past death? I don't know, I never thought of it. Honestly, the more and more I experience pain the less and less it scares me.

No, I've asked to be saved from the pain, and I'm still alive and help came.

And we are told that all pain is gone once in heaven. If you don't have faith, then there isn't a heaven and there will be pain after death anyway.

The pain would go away after death. That's why they call it "death." Lately I've found that when I get "into" the pain, it becomes manageable. Maybe my body is healing and dealing with it.... Oh, bro, I hope your question was all hypothetical!

yep. I do not worry about pain not going away. I know that it will. I also know that it will here as well. If I know it will not here, then I believe God has me here for a reason none-the-less. I will trust him in spite of how I feel.

Jesus said, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
