Spain does not have an illustrious history when in comes to Professional boxing. Soccer, bull fighting, hunting and fishing....not boxing. Paulino Uczudun was good enough to fight Louis, but Louis paralyzed the big Basque. Latin American fighters have an amazing history, not Spanish.

Javier Castillejo.....Keep in mind mexicans are not "spanish". Mexicans are mostly amerindian, with a little spanish blood here and there. Its like saying jamaicans are english, and haitians are french.

AM I MISSING SOMETHING BUT THE MAJORITY OF ALL THOSE "LATIN AMERICAN" FIGHTERS ARE OF SPANISH DESCENT.
