...but I haven't given her any reason to be that way...I don't think. Last night, I got a customer, a female. She and I are friendly and usually hang out chatting for a while. We've not exchanged #'s. We've never seen each other anywhere else... She's just a cool chick, and I like talking to her. Anyway, my girlfriend saw her and stayed upset for hours. I had to wait for her to simply cool off about it. I know a lot of females like this. My job exposes me to a lot of people. What do I need to do to quel the insecurities?

There's nothing that YOU can do. She's the one with the issues. Its sad that you can't communicate with someone without you gf getting jealous and insecure. However, if you try talking to her to find out why she's insecure, you'll probably find out that she's been hurt in the past.
It seems like you really love/care for your gf and you are right , there are a lot females like that, including myself. But how I'm overcoming that is to realize that all men are not dogs and are not going to mistreat me.

Everybody has issues, some more then other. Don't listen to these people that tell you to dump her and find someone else. Unless, it is something that you want to do.

Guys do not need to look at porn. Porn can be addictive and destroy a relationship. Don't sell yourself short by allowing your husband to have this kind of behavior. He needs to understand where you are coming from and why you feel the way you do. The reason you feel like so insecure, is BECAUSE of your husband's attitude about porn and women. You are NOT in ANY WAY being overly jealous. This is something you need to work out with him. If he cares about you, he will stop with the porn. He could be addicted though... so make sure you are there to help him through his addiction. You need to see a counselor about this. Stand up for yourself.. or your marriage may end up in trouble.

Prehaps its not you maybe she just dosent know how to trust other people or is just a little hard for her to learn how to do. Has she ever been cheated on in a past relationship? Cause that might explain it some people are like this if they've been hurt once they think they'll get hurt again. I would just talk to her in a rational tone in person and say that you are confused why she was so mad over nothing and how you wont cheat on her. Yes there are alot of females like this but there are lot of males like this to. If she does this over and over again then I would suggest breaking up with her or if she blows up in your face when you talk to her then I would suggest to break up. Her insecurity is not about you but about herself and no matter what you do SHE has to deal with it.
I would advice you to sit your girlfriend down and talk to her. But be firm with her and give her an ultimatum. She needs to seek help for her insecurity issues. It doesn't go away on it's own. She will keep claiming you and remain insecure without learning the right tools to cope with the little green demon inside her. But beware if she remains irrational cut your losses. We all know of some relationship ending badly (violently) with a jealous partner lashing out for no reason.

Some women are tremendously insecure and get jealous of every female you even walk by! There's nothing you can do except find a girl who is more confident in herself and doesn't worry about you talking to other girls. Heck I help my husband look and vice versa. Sit down with her and talk to her and reassure her that she needs to trust you and you love and her and all but you would never do anything to hurt you if she has been cheated on the past tell her not to put the past on you and go from there

dude, get a restraining order NOW! she will end up killing your pets, she will cut herself and say it was for you. she will kill your parents and your kids. you don't need to change at all, just stay away from psychopaths. what is it that is in you that you are drawn to them?? Figure that out before you start dating again.
