Losing 5 pounds a week is not healthy, it's too drastic and will be harmful to you. Before you start an exercise/diet routine, you should visit with your doctor for a check up. Eat healthier food and less of it (but don't starve yourself, you still need some food). And also exercise - if you can't jog around the block, what about just walking up stairs instead of taking the elevator. If you can't do stairs, can you walk down the hallway and back every hour at work? If you have a physical handicap, try going to a gym and asking them if they have trainers who can work with you to do exercise with what your abilities are.

Not healthfully, no. Unless you are severly overweight, and DRASTICALLY change your eating habits, then no.
What happens if you loose more than two pounds a week is that your body is loosing water, or if your not eating enough, your canibalizing and eating your own muscle. Your muscles sustains your metabolism, you don't want to loose it.
Did it take you a week to gain those five pounds? Then you can't take it off in a week. It's that simple. Give your body time.
Clean up your diet, drink lots of water, and START MOVING!

dont starve yourself! you get really weak and will still always be really hungry! did you watch the biggest loser? they are really inspirational. Erik lost 214 in 6 months, in pounds! You can actually take little baby steps like walk to anywhere within a mile instead of riding in the car. DANCE! I love to dance, and its fun and it helps you lose weight becuase you are excersicing! AMAZING! Also, Gymnastics, even if you are not flexible, stretching, can really help you stay fit and lose alot of stress. Also, dont stress out! Stress can actually help you gain weight! Don't starve yourself! that doesn't solve anything! eat yogurt.. Light yogurt, and drink water if you want to lose weight fast.
