Ok i like this guy and he just came up to me and say he got me a present but i didn't get him anythign....i meen we aren't dating? So what do i do? Just say thanx or what?

You should go buy him something. Then when he hands you your gift give him his. Make sure you get him something that you like too, in case he did not get you a gift and was just teasing you.You'll have something to keep for yourself.

I would get him something... but something safe.. and returnable( so keep your receipt) and just make sure you get your gift first. And if you like it then give him his safe gift( shirt, cologne ) If you don't like or he really didn't get you anything then take his gift back.

if it was me i would just tell him thanks and maybe even throw in a hug bcuz you should not be pressured into getting a gift bcuz you probably don't know what to get so just say thanks i mean if you want to get him something you can
