deglutition is the syn. to dysphasia which is difficulty swallowing.

I was confused with all the great answers, so I
went to the libray and checked the Taber's Medical
Dictionary It defines:
deglutition as the act of swallowing and
ingestion the act of taking food into the gastroin-
testinal tract.....HELP does this not mean the same thanks
