Call your local state revenue office. Each state is very different. Some are based on total sale price of vehicle, others are based off the trade difference.
It won't take more than 10 minutes to find out by calling the revenue office.

Add what ever your state tax is 8% or what ever.
Plus Dealer fees, Registration, handling fees, import fees, Title fees,...
I want to know why you have to pay registration fees every year after you buy a car.
