I'm goin out with this boy, he's RREEEAALLYY shy, and will barely say a word to me at school. Today he gave me a teddy bear and chocolate, but, usually i go home from school already missing him, but today I feel a little disappointed. Is it because he wouldn't put his arm around me when we were watching a movie? And any suggestions on how to break the ice?? HHHEEELLLPPP!!!

he shy. its ok. he seems really sweet, so maybe you just have to get him to open up to you more. you don't always have to expect him to do stuff like put his arm around you, i mean its kind of what we, as girls expect from guys, but they cant read our minds! if he's shy you can make the first move like put your head on his shoulder or hug him... you just have to get him to feel comfortable around you & i assure you once you break the ice (it can only be done through time) you will be satisfied.

Relationships are not like microwave ovens or drv Thur's... Why is it you Ladies can't enjoy the time it takes for a guy to feel comfortable with you...Life is not about how fast you can get through it but more about how the anticipation helps you to appreciate it, and the ones you share it with..ease up. He'll hug and hold you when he's ready. Remember it's not all about you, hence the word rela tion ship.

I know you dont want to hear this but sometimes it is good for a guy to be shy. It means hes not with you for that one thing. He showed you that he cared for you today by giving you something that I consider very special. Take that and give him something special back. Dont rush him because you will scare him. Later in life you may wonder why you ever let him go. Congrats on finding yourself a good man. Its hard to find one in school!

congrats on getting a boyfriend. Now- after schol walk with him, and take his hand. He'll probably look all nervous, but say " dont worry" i need to tell u something. Well i REALLY like u and all, but i feel that had u been more open with me that this would have meant a lot more for the two of us. Whaddaya say?

yea i mean if he's shy sometimes you gotta make the first move by taking his arm and putting it around you or putting ur arm around him first. Or you can just kiss him a coulpe of times in front of other people and keep doing it but make sure its a surprise every time you do it and i bet he'll start coming around

Try putting your arms around him first, or at least touch his arm, or his hand. Make some type of contact with him; it may be that he hasnt hugged you because he is unsure of your feelings.

ummmm i had that problem in 8th grade and i didnt really do anything to "break the ice" i just gave him a little more time, and eventually, he just totally opened up, like somebody flipped a switch.

ok well you should just do something. like i really wanted to kiss my girlfriend, but i was kinda shy about it before our first kiss. once she broke the ice by kissing me on the cheek, i immediately turned around and kissed her on the lips without even thinking! it was almost like i was on autopilot. so maybe he means to do something, but needs a little help from you.

hope this helped =)

Just put your arm around him! Tell him how much you like him and compliment him! He'll start to open up soon....
