Of course. 10 minutes is plenty of time to run the mile, even if you're not a great runner. There are four laps to a mile on a race track. Just think of it as having 2 1/2 minutes to run one lap. You can do it easily.

As for the mile its self, there is not much you can do to make the time better. I would advise that you keep a steady but, comfortable pace on the first two laps, then begin to pick up speed on the 3rd or 4th lap to make you time better. You have to have willpower to run a mile faster than you are use to. Training for it is a different story. Just jog the whole thing at a pace that you can keep the whole mile. Run everyday, and attempt to take off time every run. It should only take 5-10 sessions of running to get under 10 minutes.

Yes, I believe the world's record is below 4 minutes. A good goal to shoot for is a 9 minute mile, then an 8 minute mile, then so on and so forth.

Sure it is. It took me 6:47 and i was in cross country. And some people could even run it in less than ten minutes and less then 5:00 minutes which was the record.

Yes I think the world record is right around 4 minutes. Last time I ran one it was in high school and I got like 7 minutes.

yes, it sure is possible. i walk a 15 minute mile, sometimes less, so surely you can run a 10 minute mile.

DUH!! ANYONE can run a mile in less than 10 minutes...i'm a little overweight and I can run a mile in 7:42...and I'm a girl...and I've better time that that b4...so yeah it's totally possible!
