They probably pay pretty well as it is a very upscale restaurant that has been featured on 190 North and received much other publicity. Their Executive Chef, Ryan Poli, is one of the nation's top up-and-coming youg chefs. He was schooled at Le Francaise and French Laundry and is often compared to Grant Atchaz.
Good Luck

Line cooks in Chicago can make anywhere from $8.00 an hour to $15 an hour. The rule of thumb with fine dining restaurants is the the better the restaurant the lower the pay. My one friend who does work at Butter merely stages there one night a week. So could say that some line cooks do not get paid at all.

We have a world class selection of restaurants in Chicago, but I know of no "butter" restaurants. My 3 yr old would love it if we did :-)
