The only way to know for sure is to have some blood tests from a doctor, they would need to check your hemoglobin and hematocrit and also your ferritin and iron store levels. There are several different types of anemia - iron deficient, vit b deficient, thallassemia, anemia of chronic disease, etc..., and some require different treatments. Symptoms can incluse extreme fatigue, weakness, pallness/pallor, bruising easily, and sometimes a pale/browninsh coloring on the tongue. your best bet is to see a hematologist....they specialize in anything going on in the blood...hope that helps! ;)

the only way you can tell for sure if you are anemic, or iron deficient is to have a blood test measuring your hematocrit and hemoglobin.
