Can the application made in any post office,instead of passport office, if so plz mention the web site for details.

Passport is passport. Nothing to do internatinal. First apply with Pass Port Officer. I hope applicaiton forms are available in some other centres also. If you are needed urgently, get under tatkal scheme by obtaining police verification certificate in advance. you may get in a week. Otherwise it will take a month.

there is tathkal system to get passport urgently u will have to pay more in this system
