Dear getting hit, I do not know your situation and what is going on with you and your dad, but running away is never the answer. What you should and need to do is if you are getting beat or hit all the time, you need to confide in an adult about what is going on and let the proper authorities take care of the problem. Talk to a grandparent and see if you can stay there for a while, talk to a close friends mom and let her know what is up and see if there is anything that they can do to help you get this taken care of. If you have to call Social Services and get them involved, the police if you have to. You need to protect yourself, but running away will only cause more problems in the end. Please talk to someone you trust and see what happens. If you can stay with a close friend or another family member please do so. Rise above all of this and know that it is not your fault. and that you deserve to be treated right. There are people in your world who love you and will protect you if you are honest with them about everything. Be strong and remember if you are ready to make the changes ti can be tough and there can be trouble for your dad in charges are ever brought up on him about abuse of a minor.

Either go to the police or see your school counselor....ask them to help you.....No...don't run away...it'll only make matters worse for you in the end......ask a relative if you can stay with them until the authorities have taken appropriate action against your dad.....Sorry to hear your having problems....no child deserves to be treated like this....

Running away is illegal, and you could be arrested for it. I know it sounds crazy, but its true. Call Child Protection Services. They take all battery cases EXTREMELY SERIOUSLY and will investigate him. He will probably get into trouble, but you dont deserve to be hit. Good luck

Call the police. They usually have a family or a domestic violence specialist who can help you. Alternatively, tell a teacher. Why isn't your mother protecting you?

No, call CPS or report it to your teacher or police. Just make sure you have physical evidence of abuse.
