There is no alphabet in Chinese. If you mean Latinized characters, it is the same as in English , A is also A in Pinyin.
Number 7 is written like this: "七" and Alex can be written in many different ways, but I would suggest to write it this way:
亚乐喜, pronounced [Ah luh see]. The first character stands for "Asia", so it is an Asian name, the second and third have the same meaning "happiness". So that is the closest name to Alex which has the best meaning. Good luck on you!
Here is a link to Chinese Characters but not Alphabet. Every word in Chinese is written differently, but as a guide to pronunciation, there is the Pinyin.

Unfortunately for you, the Chinese writing system is not an alphabet. Check out the link below. It describes how the writing systems works and also gives chinese transcriptions. There are also good links to go to for learning Chinese on that same page which might help you with writing names. Hope this helps.

I recognize Chinese at an low-intermediate stage, and I've been a top college English instructor in America. In my opinion, Chinese would possibly not change English as an worldwide language. The tones are too problematic for almost all of non-local audio system to grasp to top talent, and the characters and writing method are, as you assert, a lot more problematic than an alphabetic method.

In the Chinese language, it's not called the alphabet, they are characters. (I paid attention in History!! yay me!!) and there are about 50,000 characters!! but the average person only knows about 4,000!!!
There are MANY different sections of China, where the all speak different Chinese languages, the different types are:
Mandarin
Hakka
Wu
Sino-Korean
and much more!
there are also a lot of ways to write and say 7.
search in Google for Chinese numbers OR
Chinese words
well here are some sites that might help you!!
