confuddled.. does she like me?

Question

she speaks to me at free lessons, randomly started speakin to me, tho now its always me that has to initiate talkin.

she does not 'avoid' me but she seems quiet with me (she used to be loud), maybe she is uncomfortable? if someone else is there she speaks to them like its easy to do. is it shyness?

askin for her email she said yes but she said she doesnt use it often so i said "nevermind doesnt matter" then she eyed me up all lesson.

if she is busy and i ask her stuff she still pays attenion, and she asks questions back so its not like she doesnt like chatting.
if she hated me would she not even speak to me (ask back)?

she once ignored me so i ignored her back, became distant. then i wasnt around much the week after so she speaks to my friend in private about 'me'. Asks like "where is j" - "what school did he used to go to". stuff like that, but when im there with her alone she dont ask me questions. its bizarre

i give her my no. but nothing.. shud i just ask her out face to face?

erm shes definately single but i did also think the same.. i think she may have an ex or something which is gettin in the way of me being with her.

first time i spoke to her about 3 months ago she told she was single.
and she turned someone down about 3/4 weeks ago.

but i thought she may have met someone just before the holidays started and to me it feels tha t way.. whoever she might be seeing partially is maybe messin her around too.

i did recieve a withheld number twice, i dont know who that was =\

When you two have a chance to be alone, talk to her. Ask for her phone number instead. If she declines to give it to you, she doesn't want to take any further.
What I have noticed in these classic, confusing mixed message situations is that the person who is confusing is already seeing someone and they are admiring indirectly. It doesn't mean you can have them at that point, it could mean they are keeping their eye on you if their current flame doesn't work out.
You are possibly the runner up. Give it time, and try to get her number.

There's no trick or secret to anyone. The best way to answer your question would be to ask her out. If she says no, then you know that you can move on, but if she says yes, there are many opportunities waiting for you. Although the thought of rejection may sound horrible, wouldn't it be better than wallowing in the wonderment of "does she like me" kind of thing. Go ahead, ask her.

Be man and ask her out. She might be distant because you have not done this yet. If she politely declines then you have your answer. You seem somewhat young and will meet hundreds of other ladies you are interested in. The sooner you become comfortable approaching them politely and making a move, the better off you'll be.

hmmm...oh thats a hard one. maybe you should ask her why she hasnt called you. or ask her straight out if she likes you. or ask her friend to find out if she likes you. or ask for her number. or just ask her out face to face- you have to risk a no if you ever want to hear a yes.

when you talk, if you make each other laugh then thats ace! it always works with me, if she has ever opened up to you then she knows she can trust you and you should do the same. if shes eyeing u up, then shes probably just flirtin or likes you physically- dont ever flatter yourself, no offence. if shes askin about u then i reckon she likes you, but be careful. of course shes not going to ask you certain questions when you are there because she might think you dont like her, or she'll sound too obsessive or desprate.
