LD relationships usually do not work. Trust is the main issue. If you two can absolutely trust eachother and make time for eachother, and also MAKE plans that if this goes further to eventually move closer to eachother, then Yea, I think you have a shot. Good luck

My boyfriend and are a distance apart and we have been together for almost 2 years, if you love the person then you will make it work. Distance isn't what matters in a relationship. I have come to find out that being apart from each other makes you want them more. There is no distance with love.

My fiance and I live 2.5 hours apart and things are great here. We talk each and every day on the phone. We spend each weekend together, traveling to see one and other. Trust and honesty are of the utmost importance in any relationship but especially so in long distance relationships. Sounds like you are both mature individuals so why not go for it. You never know what may happen.

I just got out of a 3 yr LD relationship & its something I'll never get into again. It wasn't until we decided to live together that I discovered we weren't good together (& I'm not talking sex although that wasn't good either). He moved back & we continued to see each other but it just wasn't the same & those 3 hr drives seemed to get longer & longer for both of us each time we drove it. But that's my experience; yours might be different.

In spite of which, I say give it a try. Otherwise, you'll always wonder if your relationship could have become more.

Take no notice of Call....(I think he's $ex crazy!) If your heart tells you yes.....then you go for it. The hardest part of all is finding that person and feeling the same way about each other...... you're almost there! Take things slowly....don't rush.....you have all the time in the world...I wish you both every bit of happiness and may you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! xx

My bestfriend recently married his high school sweetheart. He is in the marines and has travled all over. Right now he's in Iraq. They have problems with missing each other but they are still going strong. It will work. It's proven. Just make sure u still make time for each other and everyone else in ur life. Good Luck. Hopefully she's the one.
