For the same reason they make fun of tall, fat, stupid, or ugly people, its something to do. Like they're so perfect to begin with. puhleez...

Because people always make fun of other people who are different from themselves. The thing is, the makority of people are average in every way (height, weight, looks, etc., etc.) and it is the people who are outside these boundaries that get made fun of. It doesn't matter if you're big, tall, skinny or small we make fun of them all. That doesn't even account for people with a lazy, big nose, dumbo ears, etc. etc., etc.. And if anyone tries to say that they have NEVER made fun of someone else, they are a straight up liar. Don't let being short get you down, it's not your fault, it's your parents. Their faccacta genetic code made you a dwarf and you just have to deal with. I am overly pale and skinny, but I don't let it bother me, thats who I am and if someone doesn't like it, oh well? it's not what someone else thinks about you that matters, it's what you think about yourself...thats what I have to say, remember it..

It annoying,people around me talk about shorter people all the time like: "oh look at that giant & the little elves" its annoying & they don't realize that I am short too. They need to have a little bit less pride in themselves and get a job,besides making fun of others. Happy Holidays~!

I haven't noticed it. For the longest, I was 4'11 but now that Im an adult, I'm at the great big size of 5'0. I love my height and won't let anyone tell me otherwise. I think that people are sometimes insecure with themselves and have to make up "flaws" in other people to make themselves feel better. Height isn't something you can help, and its stupid for making fun of people for it. Its like making fun of someone for their color of skin, eyes, hair, etc. Its completely ridiculous! Love your short self and don't let anyone bring you down because of it.

It's just human nature sweetie. They make fun of people who are tall, who are chubby, who are skinny, etc. Don't feel like you are the only one. There is nobody immune to it because there is no such thing as a perfect person. You will find that most people who make fun are lacking self-confidence and need to find fault with others to make themselves look good.

I dont know sweets... Im short 5'2 and I've never been made fun of. I think its all about confidence. If you are walking tall on self esteem, noone will notice how short you really are. Good luck

its not just shortness, someone will make fun of you for anything
being blonde, being too tall, being too ugly, too fat, too hairy, to loud, having a weird laugh, having bad skin, you get the idea
just dont worry about it
