I have panic attacks on occasion and I was wondering if anyone else suffers from an ear "pop" (feels like pressure equalizing) during the onset of a panic attack. Thanks!

No..but perhaps you are holding your breath at the onset of the attack? I get variables in light and sound prior to an attack, but not a popping sound.

During a Panic attack, your BP goes off the chats...so, it is possible to feel a Pop in your ears. People who experience Panic attacks, have a multitude of systems...some all at one time.

Ten percent of the Population suffer from panic attacks.

There are many safe medications to control Panic attacks.

Best to you.

Could be inner ear trouble actually causing you to have panic attacks..I have experienced that..Its something to do with maybe an ear infection or tightness of the jaw when you get panic..I have had almost every sensation known to man when have panic attacks and also just having anxiety.. Its ok...its probably just your inner ear pushing together when your jaw gets tight and then releases it.. I am thinking a good ent might help you find inner ear trouble is causing anxiety.. But anyway.. dont worry about and yes i have had it alot..

That could be due to a rise in blood pressure.

I've never heard of anyone having it happen before a panic attack but if I get mad, my ears will pop...it's a blood pressure thing.

So I'm pretty sure others might experience the same thing as you.

Yes, but it's one of the lesser symptoms I have. That happens to me while I'm getting waves of chills and hot flashes during the panic attack. It feels like blood is rushing to my head and there's pressure behind my eyes too. It feels prickly and my ears feel stopped up as if they fill with water or something.

Come to think of it, my sinuses feel like they clog then immediately clear up (more than they are normally) while the ear thing happens
