As many have said, nothing short of painful surgery will work. And even that will only add 1 or 2 inches at most. The best you can do is just learn to live with it.

I have a 13 year daughter that is in the same situation. She is now only 4'8", and probably will be lucky if she gets to your height. So at least you can take some comfort in knowing you are not the only one in this situation.

If I understand your question correctly, you're asking for a way to become taller?

The only methods I've heard of are HGH (human growth hormone), but the limited reading I've done seems to indicate HGH has little to no effect on "normal" children's height growth past the genetic target range (take a look at your parents' height as a point of reference). There seems to be a greater effect with abnormally short children, but I'm not sure if that's what you're describing. Certainly, a medical doctor would have to evaluate you and agree to prescribe this.

The other solution is surgical bone lengthening, but I have no idea if this is only experimental and if it actually provides enough stability to provide a safe foundation for sports. And this is clearly as radical a solution (if not more so) than HGH.

I'm 5'5" and haven't found anything reasonable that I would use.

Best to you.

In the States I have heard of this operation where the surgeons break the leg bones and insert portions of titanium to extend the legs. This is obviously very expensive, stressful and not guaranteed to succeed. If I was you I would concentrate on improving your shooting skills so that even if you are slightly shorter than the others you can still consistently hit those three point baskets. Anyway I am 6' 3" and I prefer to go out with short girls. They are often cute.

Taking good care of yourself — eating well, exercising regularly, and getting plenty of rest — is the best way to stay healthy and help your body reach its natural potential. There's no magic pill for increasing height. In fact, your genes are the major determinant of how tall you'll be.

Most teens can expect to grow a total of about 7 to 10 inches during puberty before they reach their full adult height. Each person is a little different, so everyone starts and goes through puberty on their body's own schedule. Your body may still be changing. It can help to share any concerns or questions with your doctor.

Unfortunately, I don't think your height will increase at 20. Your pituitary gland has already determined how tall you will be. Either that, or those really expensive hormones that must be prescribed by a doctor, or adding "metal" ligatures to your femurs by sawing them in half and fastening these parts to the bone, increasing your height; might make you a tad crippled. And those aren't guaranteed or will work for "full-grown" adults.

Your genetic and health is correlated with your height. But after your 20, you are pretty much done growing.

Only radical surgery works now to increase the length of your bone legs. Of course, it is really not worth it.

Unless your doctor can give you growth hormones, there is little you can do but eat a balanced diet and take vitamins. Even then, the vitamins and meals will do little to increase your height in any dramatic way.

Honistly there isnt much that can be done. There is a surgery where they break the bone then stretch it as it heals. this operation is rare, leingthy, painfull and will only net you 2-3 inches

Sorry. Only surgery can make your taller. Which they would break your leg bones, spread them, and let them refill over time. I would suggest to just do your best and be happy for what God made you!

Nothing. You are most likely done growing at age 20.
