her name is gobo, she's about 6 months old. we got her from the local shelter, but her card just said "australian shepherd / mix"

we're curious as to what the "mix" might be.

other details...

tail is naturally bobbed. when she runs, her ears perk up, but thats the only time they are up. and her hair is getting more of a wirey/wavey texture on her back. she's completely black/white except for one brown spot on that paw (you can almost see it in the top right photo)

I think that border collie is a good guess. With mixes, you never know though. If one or both of her parents were mixes, and some grandparents were mixes, you could have quite the selection of traits.

My advice: be proud of your mixed breed. She's a mutt and that's just fine. Maybe it'll inspire others to adopt a mutt from the local shelter.

I'd guess Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix.

Probably some border collie in there.

Edit: Ok, if the tail is naturally short then aussie, they are very similar to BCs. Maybe some lab or spaniel in there too.

definatly border collie cross. the cross would likely be a blue heeler due to her spots. natural bob? tail? we have another heeler breed that comes in red with a bobbed tail and they are generally spotted like ur girls legs. that could be where she gets her red foot from?

She needs a home - think about it. I sing you got the cutest little baby face to her and she lays her head in my lab. Loves to play

Go to www.dogbreedinfo.com/a-z.htm . Click on a letter and look at pictures until you find one that looks like your dog. This website is the only website that has any information on my dog's breed.
