How old are the pups? Our mama dogs will often refuse dog food for a few days after they whelp. Then I do pamper them a little because they do have to eat to keep their strength up and care for the little ones. She should go back to dog food in a few days.

Chicken. Rice. Yogurt. Cottage Cheese. High quality 'raw' food.
But, my concern is why you are asking this question on Yahoo! Answers and not discussing it with your local GR club or your breeder mentor. They would be the best people to talk with about this as they have been there before, as responsible and educated breeders. . .

Well, when my dog, Chloe, had puppies, the vet told me to feed her dry puppy chow mixed with a little wet dog food. I guess it was so she could produce better milk for the pups. That's what I would recommend for her.

I had a beagle that stopped eating before she gave birth. The vet said it's not uncommon and that we should feed her foods that she cannot resist such as plain yogurt on her regular food, and even raw hamburger.

Try to change the menu. Dogs like humans too. Sometime they like to eat something different.
