This guy I used to date told me that he should have waited longer to have sex with me that way he could have me more emotionally and I could be more controllable. Whatever does he mean by this? Was this an insult?

Maybe that guy need to have a relationship that last so he thinks that he went further and he wanted to get to know you better.Maybe you should take it personnally because,it sound like,that guy really loves you and he didn't want to rush your relationship.It's not an insult,he just wanted to know you deeper beside sexual intercourse

That is a very personal statement so it should be taken seriously. He told you two key things:1) he wished that he waited longer b4 having intercourse with you and his reasoning is that 2) you would be more controllable. Whatever does that mean? Anytime the term "control" arises I see red.

i think he meant he wanted to make sure you were attached and it sounds to me like he might be an ex cuz he couldn't control you the way he wanted to. scary! be careful.
