If you wanting to can a page and have the text in word, you will need to get OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software.
If you just wanting the graphic, load it into paint, then do a ctrl-A (to highlight the whole image), then ctrl-insert to copy, and a shift-insert to paste on the word document.

It completely depends on what scanning software and scanner you have. You could simply take it into Word as a picture, and then enlarge it to fit the entire page. Certain scanning programs, like HP Director, allow you to send it directly to Word and then it would make it as large as the image that was scanned in is. If you are trying to scan in a document and make it appear as if it was typed on Word, this may be more complicated and you may want to consult your scanner's manual on how to best do this. Hope this helps!
