I am also interested to see which has been PROVEN to be the most re-written and re-done religion according to what the original standards were.
For example - I know that Mormoms used to teach that black people were fallen angels incarnate, however, after civil rights, they erased that part of their doctrine... (I am looking for more examples such as this for all religions listed)
Thank you in advance!

I am not asking which one you BELIEVE to be the most re-written - I am asking which one has been PROVEN to be.
I have a book of Mormon at home with the texts that show the part about blacks...
Please provide historical details. Thanks!

Bible has various dates, all older than the Qu'ran.
Torah - 1450BC
The rest of the Old Testament 1400BC-400BC
New Testament - 50-100AD
Buddhism - started by Buddha (Siddhārtha Gautama) 563 - 483BC
Qu'ran was written 650-656AD
Book of Mormon 1830AD

The oldest of the great world religions is Hinduism. The Bhagavad Gita is over 5 thousand years old, and so pre-dates the Bible, Qu'ran, and Book of Mormon by several thousand years. Buddhism pre-dates Christianity by about 500 years.
Re-written? Most of the Books that you mention have been re-translated, and, in the Bible's case, the books therein were handpicked by Constantine and his Council at Nicea around 300 AD. There are many gospels and books written that did not make it into the Old Testament (such as Book of Enoch) or the New (such as the many Gnostic texts).
This is a HUGE topic that deserves more than the space here. Start "googling" or go to a library and find out more for yourself. You might be surprised at what you find.

Well the Bible is by-far the most re-written. It also spans about a 2000 year writing period from about 50 authors. From monks and scholars it was translated, currently in like... 600 languages. Yeah. Amazingly (to me at least) it still holds the same theme: God's son comming to earth to save us.
The Bible is oldest, first starting in about 1500-2000 BC (moses) to 90 AD. (john and paul) It has two sets of "standards", the old, and new, described as testaments, or covenant. The new covenant is followed by Christians because it ushered an era of a gift of salvation from God through a blood covenant (Jesus' blood on the cross)
Buddhism is second oldest (about 500 BC) but there aren't really any main holy books about it, just common 'nirvana' knowledge.
The Qu'ran came about near the time of Muhammed's death in 595 AD ( i could be wrong, but about 500-600 AD).
Mormonism is pretty new, starting in about 1850 AD. The mormons in America were persecueted and moved west and eventually founded Salt Lake City, Utah.
I'd say the Bible is the oldest currently practiced religious text. I don't look at it like that though, it's a guidebook to life for me :D

As usual, someone is quoting something they think is Mormon doctrine without giving a source. We never taught blacks were "fallen angels incarnate." It would be more correct to say that a few leaders pointed out that they thought there was a difference in valiance in the spirits in the pre-earth life. However, there is a difference in valiance in all spirits and people everywhere on earth, and throughout all of the history of mankind. Christianity is the oldest religion, as Adam and Eve were taught the law of sacrifice from the very beginning, as a preparation for the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ centuries to come, in the great and everlasting Atonement. The Jews also lived the law of Mosaic sacrifices as a preparation for the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Have a happy day.

The Bible would have to be the oldest one of the three I think. There are fragments of biblical writings going back to the first century AD. Wasn't the Qu'ran written in something like the 4th or 5th century AD? And the book of Mormon was first published in1830.
By the way the LDS doctrine regarding people of color was taught as a doctrine of compassion for people who had not had the chance to develop as the rest of the world had. It was taught to teach people to support and sustain people of color. In due time, when President Kimball received his revelation in 1978 regarding people of color, all boundaries were removed.

First came the Psalms to David
Then came the Torah (old testament) to Moses
3rd came the Gospel to Jesus
and finely the Quran to Muhammad
may Peace and blessings be on them all.
The Quran has been preserved in its original state in arabic not a single letter has been changed. Over the past decade or soo Muslim scholars have tried to interpret the Quran into English. However one must realise that just one world from the original text of the Quran is very hard to explain into english as arabic is such a powerful language.
The Quran is the only true word from God, 70% of the Quran is proven by science.

Out of these three, the Bible. The Book of Mormon was written in 1830(I think)
The most re-done religion would be Hinduism...which is more like a collection of beliefs now (330,000+ gods...)

I don't believe the bible was rewritten in the way your implying. Yes, it was copied and translated. Other than questions on translating of certain words, the bible has remained pretty much in tack for centuries. Yes, it is the oldest with books dating back to 1513 B.C.E..

Well, according to the Mormons the "Book of Mormon" started before the New Testament and the Qu'ran. Since all religions make gross statements that are obviously wrong, and it is all false anyways, I will give it to the BoM as being the oldest. (I know it is not, just according to them it is)
