Use equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and water to rinse your mouth/teeth. Hold it on teeth for several seconds. Using this daily helps whiten teeth. Dentists often recommend this. With dentures, I use more h. peroxide and let the plate sit in the mixture during shower. Hydrogen peroxide whitens.

No if you rinse daily with just hydrogen peroxide for a period of time it can give you a black furry tongue. But, if you rinse with it 1/2 and 1/2 water you won't have a problem with that. Now if your talking about using the toothpaste with peroxide in it now it doesn't hurt your teeth nor will you end up with the "black furry tongue"
