We started talking on the net a month ago and have been talking on the phone for the past 3 weeks. We are wanting to meet each other. Any suggestions on what to do for a first date?

so no movies, you cant talk or hardly see eachother,
no dinner- too cliche
my ideas for you...
there is a place here in atl that is called Dave and Busters which is like a grown up chuck e cheeses, they have the games and pool tables a bar and even a night club area for after hours a place like that would be great because you can let your hair down and really have fun with each other that is the main goal.
also you could meet at a park and have a picnic, have a nice lunch (whether you made it or not) and a bottle of wine and talk the outdoor atmousphere will calm both of your spirits and help you open up to eachother.
if there is nothing to do in your city and you must go to dinner suggest picking out each others dishes, just to add a little spice and get to know you time. but dont list who you are and your qualities, instead play 20 questions, like if you are stranded on an island and could only bring 3 things what would they be??good luck you'll be fine luv always envy

I really think you should wait a little longer, you dont know who he really is if you just met him online. Try talking on the phone and stuff. Make sure that when you meet this guy, its bright and not dark and you have a friend nearby just in case. For a first day, picnic in the park. It may not be as romantic but you guys can build your way there!

been there, done that! it's just that we have been talking for a year before we met... we were involved with other people in the meantime. and then... we went out... and now... we are together :D it's natural don't worry. you'll talk about whatever comes to your mind. we talked about music, movies, friends even history :))
