Some friends have asked for bacon to do an English breakfast but we cannot find out whether we are able to take it out of the country on a flight to France?

Transport of meat and dairy products is controlled. I would double check with customs.
You can buy bacon in France!!!!!! In supermarkets and butchers.

Im not so sure the Islamic Republic of France allows you to import bacon.....

i took sausages and bacon into france in my hand luggage in november no problem - confiscated brown sauce though!

It is prohibited. However(and dont ask me why), Galtee Meats Charleville Co. Cork, are permitted to send their products direct. Contact them.

YES put it in a cool bag in you suitcase , not your hand luggage
