yes the atkins diet really works. Now you can get the Atkins Diet in audiobook form. Dr Agaston himself narrates. Very motivational and you can burn it to a CD or put it on your ipod or mp3 so that you can listen anywhere, anytime. I found it on sale for $9 and you can download it instantly. Good Luck!

Let me tell you about Atkins. First Dr. Atkins did not die from this way of eating but a blow to the head on ice.

This way of eating works fantastic but it's not a diet. Cannot be approached in the same manor all other weigh loss strageties do. But a total change of lifestyle and the way one eats. But I guess this could be said of any weight loss program.

Don't believe anyone who tries and tell you that The Atkins diet is dangerous. It isn't.

Let's debunk some myths.

1. It is NO carbs. Not true the only foods that have NO carbs are meat, poultry and fish. All other foods have carbs. But the carbs in the foods are not created equal. Carbs that raise the blood sugar are the foods to avoid. An easy why to remember the worse ones are things that are naturally occuring white things, White flour, White sugar, potatoes, rice etc. All these foods do is make you have a big stomach especially white bread which is little more than glue in your digestive track.

You go on induction at 20 carbs a day for 2 weeks and slowly add carbs in as long as you are still losing.

Atkins is hard on your kidney's. Not true.

Ketosis burns muscle. NOT true it burns fat.

This is the most amazing way of eating. You lose weight, your cholestrol drops, and you have more energy than you ever had. No heartburn either.

I lost 50 pounds and kept it off for almost 3 years going strong. I have no intentions of ever getting back on the rollar coaster of gaining and losing. It feels so wonderful to be able to stay the same weight and eat. Oh and I never count calories or actually I don't even count carbs. I just eat legal. If I find myself gaining then I just go back on induction for about 2 or 3 days and all weight gained is gone. Amazing! Not depriving either.

Do not attemp to go on this diet if you do not "read" the book. Or if you plan on going off of it once you lose the pounds you want to.

The high-quality factor to do is consume five small foods an afternoon two hundred-three hundred energy in line with meal. This continues your blood sugar stages regular so you do not consider the must binge and also you consider convinced all day! Keep up the first-rate paintings, additionally while you figure out if you'll be able to carry weights or figure out in small bouts a few instances an afternoon if you happen to don't seem to be lifting weights for an extended burn time.

My good friend lost weight but then it came back and brought friends.

After everything else failed she found an all natural product called Isagenix. She has since lost 152 lbs and kept it off for nearly 3 years.

I have also had great results with this product.

The average weight loss is 7 lbs in 9 days and this is safe weight loss.
