Oh, I know I'm wrong. But I also know everybody else is wrong. There is not a single religion out there that is absolutely right. And that's what pisses me off at night.

I'm very open-minded and I accept the possiblity of being wrong. And if I am, then I guess I'll learn my lesson while burning in hell....wouldn't that make all the Christians happy?? A big fat "I told you so?"

If one spent so much time and energy claiming and saying what they think is right, it may be hard to swallow the fact that you may be wrong; I could be wrong in my theories but of course I believe myself to be right
If you can prove me wrong, great but even to do that I will be very argumentative and debative; I won't accept it without a fight

One can be so open minded that their brains fall out...LOL
Seriously, I may have the wrong religion but if I do and I live this life filled with peace and hope and the feeling that somebody bigger cares for me and loves me then I am happy with that outcome. Peace :-)

Religions persist only by attracting and retaining adherents. A belief system that doesn't preach certainty and intolerance will have a very difficult time avoiding defections and the like.

I am often wrong about many things... if you are refering to God..as that is the main target on this forum... then when one knows The Truth of God then one Knows The Truth of God... there is no posability of being wrong about God when one has The Truth.....note: I said The Truth of God...not some man invented doctrin or dogma... or some satan inspired deception....

I do indeed consider the possibility. There is nothing as close-minded as the words "Nothing can convince me that..."
And I hear a lot of those coming from the faithful.

If I was to believe that I was wrong, then I would not believe what I believe in the first place. That doesnt make any sense.

Then we'd all be agnostic, which does make more sense then siding 100% with one side or the other.
