I need some examples because I plan on getting my hair layered today. I want it to be from my ears down and all the way around.

Just tell them to layer it. There aren't that many ways to layer hair. Just cutting the first layer shorter then the others.

well, you can tell the stylist you want either choppy layers, which would be more stylish, funky, chunky... or you can say you want even or uniform layers all the way around with a face frame starting at your ears (be careful to tell her you do NOT want a mullet-like cut though) ... or you can get a v-shaped, or u-shaped cut, which is real pretty.

Your best bet is to find a picture of the style you want in a magazine or a stylist book (at some beauty shops) and show your hair dresser.

you can ask for long layers or short layers. you can also ask them to texturize your hair, which helps with alot of hair styles.

Blended layers arent as noticable and choppy or chunky are more noticable....

I've had problems with that off and on for a few years. I've found it's just easier to take a picture with you and show them.
