Stopping illegal immigration, what is your solution?

Mine is simply this:

Step 1 Stop the flow, shutdown the border do whatever we have to do to prevent illegal aliens from invading this country. This could mean troops at the border, vehicle barriers, border fence, survaliance drones...all the above? Every other step is absolutely worthless without this step.

Step 2 Mandatory deportation of illegal aliens in united states correction facilitys, unless involved in terrorist activitys. This includes illegals with felonys.

Step 3 is cracking down on employers no exceptions, with a $10,000 fine per illegal alien upon first crackdown. If the employer is caught with illegals working again, THEY LOSE THERE BUSINESS LICENSE! Mandatory deportation of illegals working for employers in step 3.

Step 4 Lastly deportation upon discovery of false or missing documentation. This includes minor traffic offenses.

Each and every one these steps plays a critical role in decreasing illegal alien entry in the US. Finally securing our country!

Its incredible how many people throw out the race card on this topic. Seriously what is it, I have made no hint of my ethnic origin. You assume i'm white, O how blind you are. I am the voice of the majority of Americans, yes the majority of Americans share the same views I have.

How dare any person who calls themselves Americans or that would like to be an American shoot down this strict border mentality.

It is a fact that there have been islamic facists trained to look and speak as an illegal alien. There are then shipped to the border with God knows what to make there way across the border. Its is in the best interest of the country to know who and what is in this country. Any other form of thinking is Anti-American, and that thinking is exactly is what will destroy this country.

There are 280 million united Americans that will not stand for illegal immigration and approx. 20 million illegals. We will win this war with our without the goverments help.

Mary your absolutely right I never referred to any specific ethnic group, I was referring to illegal aliens in general.

Stephanie why would we reward illegal aliens with amnesty? Don't you think that would just encourage more illegals to rush for the border? Its a poor plan that gives no solution to the problem.

All we need to do is truly enforce the laws we already have in place. It's ILLEGAL immigration folks! The problem is that so many people feel it is politically incorrect to enforce these laws. We don't need MORE laws, but we probably need more people to enforce them, as well as moving these cases more quickly through the courts and ship them back home immediately, along with a bill for the costs to their country of origin.

We enforce homeland security laws more tightly at airports than we do at our own borders. (Gramma can be strip searched at the airport before boarding the plane, but the borders are wide open, and illegal immigrants are often just let go after a court hearing before being sent back---which means they are free to roam wherever, where they disappear back into the legal population. ) Also, they should penalize any company that is not doing due diligence in their hiring practices. (This is a law already in place as well.)

It is time to get tough on the Illegal Immigration problem. I suggest the following

1. Vote out ALL incumbents.

2. Deport ALL illegal ALIENS that come to the attention of the police.

3. Arrest ALL employers of illegals and confiscate the wages.

4. STOP providing welfare and other than absolute EMERGENCY medical services.

5. Cut off ALL federal funding to any college providing services to illegal ALIENS.

6. Reverse the insane policies of telling the police they can't ask for immigration status.

7. Dismantle TSA and use the funding to increase the Border Patrol.

8. Put a BOUNTY on illegal ALIENS. $1,000.00 for everyone turned in to the police. All property owned by illegals would be confiscated cars, homes, furniture, guns, TVs, computers, ANYTHING purchased in the US. The money for the bounty would be paid by the sale of the confiscated personal or business items owned by illegals. It would also pay to deport the illegals IMMEDIATELY back to Mexico or the Central or South American country that they come from.

Any Judge, politician or city or state official that does not adhere to the above must be RECALLED IMMEDIATELY.

Over a period of time you would be surprised just how many illegal ALIENS would be found and deported. If they knew that any citizen could put them under arrest and receive a bounty to have them deported not many illegals would want to return.

I totally agree on every step. Theres a catch. The US-Mexico border is roughly 1,951 miles (or 3,141 km). the question is how can you properly defend such a line?.
National Guard and regular troops are busy fighting overseas and those how are still here are training or having a deserved rest. Getting the "man-power" for such an operation would be extremely hard (considering that the Border patrol is stretched out and there aren`t sufficient NG/ARMY personnel available).
Technology is on our side, UAVs and UCAVs obviously help, but we need the help form locals to be our "eyes" on the ground.
Also deporting such Aliens costs money. and deporting all 13 million of them well, that's a bill. We should consider using that money to prevent more form coming. I mean whats done its done.

The ones in jail should finish their sentences. How would you feel if a guy who raped or killed your daughter got out of jail after a short time and was sent home free as a bird?

My solution is to stop giving citizenship to children of illegals, fine and jail employers, and stop giving illegals benefits that are meant for citizens. Troops and a fence at the border is a good idea also. Some people can't bear the thought of not helping these poor illegals, so stopping the flow of them is mandatory.

Guard towers 400 yard from the border and 400 yards apart. We can even lease out gaurd towers to American "hunters" for their hunting lease. This will help pay for the guard towers.

Pass a law that says 'you catch 'em, you keep 'em' for 7 years. Free labor for whoever can catch these slimeballs. Corporations, non-profits, private citizens or government entities. Yes, this is a form of slavery.

Too tough for you? Then check the labels on stuff you buy. If it's Made In China - they have the largest prison labor (see slavery) force in the world and many so-called American companies (Wal-mart and Dell are two) use this free prison labor to produce and sell you their goods at prices just as if an American, earning American wages, had produced it.

Truth is many of these greaseballs would make a mad dash for the border once the legislation got rolling. Anyone who stayed could be considered to be volunteering for this free labor program.

The final ingredient in this solution is creating/enforcing stiff penalties on businesses who hire illegals. We could even shut 'em down for a while.

Ryan run for president all 4 steps need to be implemented. Put the business owners in jail. Dont fine em cuz they make alot more than the fine will ever hurt them. Think of it as if you owned a company and had a beaner working for you and you make millinos off his work whats a 10K fine gonna hurt ya. They just laugh it off. The only way you make these companies learn is to put them in jail .Let them sit behind bars and realize the people aren't gonna put up with them hiring illegals. And find a damn system that can tell if s.s. numbers of your own employees are being used more than once.
2. make them show 3 forms of ID 1 has to be birth certificate, 1 has to be state issued drivers license

I dont believe swift ( huge Corporation) couldn't tell that soc sec numbers were being used more than once. Or the banks who cashed these checks everyweek didn't notice. I am a 30 ish year old white male I get carded all the time at the bank they wont even cash my checks if my license is about to expire and how did the banks keep track of clients mine checks soc sec number as to check the acct to verify its me. how did they not notice s s number 333-33-3333 was for 3 different peoples names rodriguez, cruz, carlos etc

this is from a UK perspective. We are being bombarded by Muslims feeling from tyranny in their own country. The only way to stop them is to have stronger regulations enforced to send them back without question that way those that want to come here wont try if they know they will be deported straight away.

Deport all illegal immigrants here in our country. Keep in mind that if we do the first 4, we might not have many left here to deport.
