How many other people besides me are waiting for parcels from overseas which were posted weeks ago to be delivered around the UK by Parcelforce? Even their "Track and Trace " facility on the website has packed up through over use. I am still awaiting delivery of a parcel posted in the USA on Dec 4th ,can anyone beat that?

I know it left Miami airport on Dec 8th (4 days after it was posted) because it was tracked but I have no tracking info after it arrived in UK.

Even the rest of the year it typically takes 2 weeks for a parcel to go from the US to the UK ... Airmail. If they send it surface then expect 6 weeks or so!

The US postal service has a Global Priority service that typically delivers in 9 days. It is sometimes cheaper because they have flat rate boxes you can send things in. That track and trace thing usually shows me that the Post Office got it, that it left the originating country, arrived in the destination country and delivered but I usually never check that far since the whole thing is days behind anyhow. It's really a farce. The EMS track and trace is wicked. I could even see what flight the parcel was getting on and then track that live as it flew across the ocean (using a flight tracking website)

All these times will be grossly exaggerated during the holiday season. If you get it in time for Christmas, consider yourself lucky!

The US postal service recommends that all packages heading overseas (and Britain is, from there) be posted by Nov. 15th at the latest. Whoever sent your parcel left it waaay too late and got caught in the Christmas crush on that side of the water. You'll have to wait--if it arrives at all.

I got mine from germany 8 days after posting (not too bad)

It arrived at the uk depot just down the road from me on Monday and I go it last Friday.

It took longer to get from down the road than it did from Germany to England

Mad hey??
