Old Scanner!!!!?

Question

I found this old scanner and I need to use it. the light and everything turns on when I have it all plugged it but nothing pops up on the computer? whatttt do I do?!


the scanner is a Scanport color SQ 2030

(1) first of all it would be nice ot know what make it is.
(2) just plugging it to the computer won't make it work.
(3) you will need software to make it work, as it should
(4) you will need to get the drivers for the scanner

Some scanners will only work under windows 98 because the manufactures have not written and drivers for windows XP
so now we have to find out what you can do and what scanner it is and if it will work under windows XP if that what your running

You need the software installtion CD. I have the exact scanner (KOOL!!!) U need the software to install it. If you want email me at [e-mail] and Ill mail the CD since i dont really use the scanner anymore.

you will need to find the driver for that particular scanner.

type the brand and model number and the word "driver" into a google search and download the drivers for it, it should work then

does it say like new hardware found? download the drivers and install it.
