as a professional driver myself, yes the driver would probably die. modern trucks are only made of fiberglass. The greatest risk to the truck driver would be rolling over or being ejected through the front windshield

There's always a chance of dieing. But the truck driver would have a better chance of living than anyone else involved.

If he is colliding with a Volvo 240, then yes. His truck will be reduced to atoms and all that will be left of him will be a pink mist and some smoking boots.
The Volvo 240 will emerge unscathed and continue down the road.

been there done that got the t shirt,hit almost head on he was runnin 85 i was about 50 steel pete vs fiberglass ford areomax,yes i got hurt and yes i could have died,but i had my trk off the rd and slowed down when he hit me,if i had been laxed about paying attention, he would have killed me.
pay attention when your driving no matter what it is.
