I'm guessing that you are Episcopalian. The General Convention has excepted gay clergy and are working toward blessing gay unions. Since it comes from general convention, any church that doesn't agree with General Convention decisions will have to break off and become a different church with a new name.

That's how all Religion started. When mankind disagrees with his creator his sin nature allows him to create his own diety who condones all of mans selfish vices with no standard of judgement.
Thereby separating them from relationship with the Real and Living God through Jesus Christ. Living in deception and blissful damnation.
