Why would God not like ugly? I thought he created us all in his image... does that mean God himself is ugly? Or just a retarded ethiopian with botulism and flies all over his face praying that he dies of starvation before dehydration or gets trampled by goats? Or is he yet another TERRY SCHAIVO case, just caught up in a Christian acid drop? Why do people use his image (if he's so goddamn ugly) for an effigy of compassion, when in all reality his greatest blunder was making us? For those of you who believe in God, why? Aside from quoting the Bible or saying the word "faith" (but I know you religious retards are going to anyways), how can you believe in God when televangelism and platypi exist? Please explain your holy crusade and why I should be a part of this masquerade of innocence, when in all reality, Christians have caused more pain and war than any other religion?

It is not a question of faith but a question of fear. Those who love God the most are the ones that fear him the most. Simple minds tend to believe in simple explanations. Why do people have to die, oh, it is God's will. Sure it is, for those who don't see that the only life you will ever have is the one you are living in now, not an afterlife, not ever.

First mam, you have to understand that everyone who confesses christ, is not of christ. There are many false prophets, preachers, and teachers in the land. I felt the same way before I came back to the Lord. I back slid at the age of 14. I studied different religions, I went out and sin & lived a life of confusion. I wasn't satified with the results I found in any of the other religions, so I then became a athies. I denied God, and anything he stood for. It was not until I was about to committ suiciede, had no one to turn to, or call on did I go back to the Lord. I mean I was in thousands of dollars of dept, I had a car that had just lost the entire engine, and I was not able to make it either of my jobs. My life was a complete disaster. I was a broke, bustard college student trying my best to make ends meet. I had no father to help me; only a mother who recieve SSI. I had no support system, no friends, and family who had my back. But in my time on need, and in despair that is why I found the Lord as my shelter, my comfort, and my refuge. The Lord said in his own word he will never leave us, nor will he forsake us. I was a person who had critize the Lord, use his name in vain, denied him, Gossisp about his people, studied witch-craft, and put other ideas & beliefs before him. I was a Blashphemiest, a liar, a fornicator, and a nasty pervert. I was truly a sinner, amoung sinners. If Jesus didn't like ugly, he would have never wash me his blood, and forgave me of all my sins. He would have never given me a second chance. I believe in god for what he has done. The Lord means more to me than a church building, a denomination, a pastor or prophet, a car, a house, a job, a college degree, a relationship ( I practice celibacy), and even my mother and father. He is my total support system. I can't convince you to come to the Lord, but what I can do is explain, and give you a reason why I serve him. When my back was against the wall he was all that I had to call on. He delivered me in my times of need of financial caous, and distability. I don't know what I would do without him, or how did I survive without out. I am sorry you feel this way, because the Lord is good. But, there are those who defame his name, and lie on him. Because of that, many never truly ever get to know him. The only thing I could leave you with is to ask the Lord to save you, and Baptize and Fill you up with the HOLYGHOST. Ask God to replace your mind with that of Christ, and get your own revelation of who he is. Read the bible for yourself, and the Lord will provide you an answer. A lot of the wars that were fought in his name, were not actually fought in his name. Man has wage war for centuries, and place the Lord as the blame. As far as biblical wars, they were fought to either defend, or release God's people for bondage!

I believe in God, but I am not Christian. I don't have any answers to your questions because you are only questioning about the Christian God.
I think you need to take a deep breath and appreciate that there are some rational people out there in the world.

Actually, you cannot be a part of this "masquerade" without first knowing the Lord Jesus Christ. And before you can be a part of it you need to be changed, or born again. And only God can make this change happen. I suggest you pick a side and stick with it. God doesn't want doubters, but those who hold fast to the confession that Jesus Christ is Lord!

Anyway, God made us in his "spiritual image" not in a physical image. He created us to be holy just as he is. God makes everyone special as they are. He sends people like Terry Schaivo to make people think about their own lives. Why do you think there were so many news stories about it? Did people think about it? Yes. So, everyone has a purpose in life. God doesn't hate the "ugly".

And you started off so well, you actually answered your own question, God doesn't see ugly, he created everyone in his own image. So to him no matter who you are , you are beautiful and a child of God, even if you Don't believe in HIM , HE believes in you.
Haven't you ever heard the song Everything is Beautiful in its own way? Search out the lyrics you might surprise yourself and find yourself agreeing with it.

I think people are Ugly. However, during my time (only 17 years of it mind due) I have discovered that people who I think are UGLY other people find attractive. So, to be honest its just opinion. I don't believe in God btw.
