Like they find fossils and other things that are supposed to be billions of years old but how can that be when the world is only about 10000 or so years old according to the Bible? And also what about dinosaurs?

Nope. Science is correct in it's estimation of the age of our planet.

The bible claims the Earth is around 6 - 8 thousand years old if I remember correctly.

The bible has nothing to say about dinosaurs, but it DOES speak about giants... I'm sure we'll find those remains someday! *chuckle*

Scientifically, the picture voltaic information that's already recorded continues to be stagnant. regrettably for the scientists, the solar isn't a consistent and that's information adjustments swifter than a scientist can write it down. We also needs to comprehend that technological knowledge is under no circumstances correct. human beings can record it, besides the indisputable fact that that's authentic accuracy is basically concept. so a procedures because the earth beginning that's volcanic pastime, it is also basically a concept. even no matter if that is measured, that is basically performed so with the help of human length - that's back - basically concept. With what ought to people probably study the accuracy of their information? extraterrestrial beings? I truly accept as true with your concept about the solar being 3 tiers cooler. actual, if that were to take position, not basically would earth freeze, the finished image voltaic equipment would thoroughly replace that's course. each little thing would sluggish right down to a move slowly and the picture voltaic equipment (as all of us understand it) does not exist anymore. If the solar were to lose that's "mild" for instance, scientists let us know we may have approx 12 minutes beforehand each little thing went darkish and we may die. ok, yet nonetheless a concept. the idea of "time" is in many circumstances left out of equations like this, leaving people basically a probability to wager or supply an "approximate". that is a lot the same because the idea of "carbon courting" of the dinosaurs and different prehistoric creatures. there is not any extremely way of "proving" those theories. human beings both trust them or do not.

If you believe the bible is a science textbook you are sadly mistaken. The Earth IS 5 billion years old. The only people that are telling you that the bible says that the Earth is only 6,000 years old are wrong. Do not take the bible literally - it was never meant to be used that way. And what about dinosaurs? They were here millions of years ago. Lizards and birds are the modern descendants of them.

How about this? Since one can no more prove that the world is billions of years old any more than another can prove that it is only thousands of years old, why spend time debating it? I'm talking empirical scientific evidence here. There are dozens upon dozens of facts that can SUPPORT either theory/belief, but none of them, on their own nor paired with others, can PROVE either way. If it interests you, then fine. If you find others who are interested as well, great. But, don't push your beliefs on others. And don't let others push their beliefs on you. You think I'm referring only to Christians here? Evolutionists, or those who believe the earth to be billions of years old are just as bad. Most of them tout their beliefs as fact, and are just as ignorant and close-minded as their counterparts. Quite the hypocrites, these people are, since they often accuse others who don't believe the same thing they do of being ignorant.

Personally, I'm not sure either way. How can I be? If neither theories have been proven, why would I make up my mind? I'll wait for the proof, thank you. Until then, have fun with your pointless debates and arguments.

The bible doesn't say when the world was created. Some hard core creationists think they can interpolate that information from the bible but they cannot support their belief with convincing data. In other words, the young earth theory is religious dogma, not science.

The best data available supports that theory that the universe is indeed billions of years old.

The earth was created with the appearance of age; man and dinosaur once lived togther (Adam named ALL of the animals) and the accumilation of dust on the moon does not support the theory that the earth is millions of years old.

I don't think the Earth is that old. And what do you mean by dinosaurs? If you asking if they existed they did. The Bible mentions them (the Beamoth, Kraken). A dinosaur carcass was found near Japan (i'm pretty sure it was Japan) in the 40's. Here's a good website though to answer you questions:

The bible contradicts science and facts. The bible does not have an explanation of fossils and dinosaurs although it's been proven.

You cannot rely on the blind followers of science. You must examine the evidence yourself. You cannot rely on the opinions of others for your truth, you must seek the answers from the most honest sources. Sometimes especillay when it comes to theiories science is not honest, because within the scientifc machine, you have men and women, with passions, beliefs, agenda, perversions to defend, and other biases. Theoretical areas is where they can slip in and manipulate things based on their reputations as professionals, but make no mistake about it, they are subject to all the weaknesses of men.
So I would say examine the issue from reliable sources and honest people, and specifically seek out arguments and evidence that contradicts any given opinion so ythat you can measure both sides and then form th best possible conclusion, but not with so much pride that you cannot learn after that.
I do not believe it is millions of yers old absolutely, but you have to remember that those who want to defend "science" do so because they have much at stake. Science doesn ot want morality to trump technological science, and so they actively try to discredit religion as faulty, but this is not true at all.

You should also examine the meaning of science itself. You notice how the defenders of some so called science machine, do not tell you to inquire, to seek, to investigate, they just yell and spill their overflow of hatred which they try to hide behind science> Science is their version of a halo.
I advise you to investigate but as I said bioth sides very well and perhaps you will come to the conclusiobn that i have, that these men who work for the advancement of science and destruction of Gods worship, have no basis for these conclusions. There are vatrious ways tyo interpret the data, but they do not tell you that, they just give you their interpretation. The facts are neutral it is the interpretation that matters.
So dear, I recommend reading abook called the "politically incorrect guide to science" and go from there. God bless you in your search and deliver you from the snares of unbelievers and wicked men.

I usually think religion is harmless but when its goal is to breed generation of uneducated fools, I have a problem with!
The Earth is billions of years old, if you want to read the Bible, just take the somwhat good values it preaches ( emphasis on "somewhat") and leave the other fairy tales for when you want to be entertained..

They can trace human civilization back further than 10,000 years, let alone the dinosaurs which existed tens of millions of years ago. The Bible can say whatever it wants, but science has it right.
