this crisis is called in french "crise de la quarantaine (40's crisis).
It's also called le démon de midi (midday evil)

In France, i'ts more commonely used for men who are supposed to be more subject to that kind of crisis....

the french expression is
"il / elle a été atteint(e) par le démon de midi"

it works for both men and women

LOL LOL LOL.....this has extremely made me snicker...thanks for that...i necessary it, i'm dealing with similar element, AND coping with menapause, why is this womens criticism called MENapause...only a concept...
