My dog has had pretty bad diarrhea since she's been in heat. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do for her?

If she's had diarrhea for longer than 24 hours, she could end up getting dehydrated. Diarrhea is not a side effect of being in heat.

Give the vet a call. He may prescribe some pepto and a bland diet. He'll ask you questions (is she lethargic, has she been eating, acting normally).

You can also take a stool sample to the vets office to see if she has worms, they can cause diarrhea also.

Diarrhea isn't a side effect of being in heat. How long has she had the diarrhea for? If it's been more than a day, make sure she has water available at all times, and schedule a vet appointment to find the underlying cause.

Diarrhea does not go with a dog going into heat.
If her tummy at the touch is tender she needs to be taken to a vet right away. She could have picked up a virus someplace and you don't want it to get worst. She needs a LOT of water don't let her become dehydrated. If you where in her place how would you feel. She is not a happy dog right now...

So long as she is consuming and ingesting and taking part in and appearing quality in each opposite direction, it is no longer quite an emergency except it persists. The endosorb is pleasant, that you can also are trying feeding her rice and chicken or rice and cottage cheese (about three:1) or no longer feeding her in any respect. The spots of blood could be regarding however she is in warmness, so it is hard to claim. Diarrhea will not be average for the period of warmth, although it could actually occur often. Surely make certain she has a lot of fluids
