id like to get a good bit of software that when i rip a dvd to hard drive i can transcode it to divx or avi.the files from dvd are..i think vts,vob and ifo. have used autogk,but was wondering if theres other software out there.cheers

The software i have for conversion from xvids, avi`s etc is very quick and easy:
X-OOM DIVX 2DVD.
available for sale from www.X-OOM.com
i actually bought 3 copies for different machines, and if i remember right it was about £25.00 per copy.
( blinding bit of kit, does it al for you )
