I weigh 140 lbs. And Im doing the kind where you jump hop once and jump over the rope again, etc.

you can't look at it that way. you have to give yourself time!

say check yoruself out every month and then every year and see what your progress is.

excercise should be for life not for reduced calories! :-)

I believe it is approx 10 cal per 1 minute of jumping rope.
