I have a sister that is coming to Denver on Saturday from Detroit. Will her flight be affected because of all of the other flights today that are cancelled?? Or will the cancelled flights be arriving at their destinations later than expected, such as on Sunday?

Hopefully by Saturday if the storm has passed the airlines will be caught up and the flights will be arriving on schedule.
If you go to this site http://www.fly.faa.gov/flyfaa/usmap.jsp it shows you the delays on arrivals and departures on the major US airports.

It will more than likely be affected due to the winter storm, I just seen it on the news about 15 minutes ago that they will not be opening up to any incoming or outgoing flights for the next few days, possibly up to a week they said.

Denver International Airport was closed to all flights at mid-afternoon Wednesday, and more than 1,000 flights were cancelled through Thursday. No time was set for runways to reopen.

United Airlines cancelled more than 670 flights into Denver and 160 that had been scheduled to take off before noon on Thursday. Frontier Airlines cancelled up to 190 flights.

If the flights are on the same value ticket (e.g. connecting flights), then it truly is fantastic, the airline figures it out. yet in case you made you personal determination of two diverse tickets, then you actually could rush. desire you get carry of a few style of insurance.

Expect delays. It takes days to get back to normal once a weather incident screws airlines up.
